The blades are designed for fencing training and (non-FIE) competitions; experience has shown that this „V”-shaped grooved blade is much more durable.

They are available in various sizes, ranging from 750 mm (children’s) to 880 mm (adult). In fencing equipment, the blade is the first and most important component, and is also a consumable item. Blade breakage and deformation depend largely on the fencer and their fencing style and intensity, so it is difficult to predict the blade’s lifespan. We recommend that, if you have already tested the durability of ELSIOR blades, you should buy 2–3 blades at a time, rather than just one.
