The FULL-ARM-05 can also be supplied with a small, rechargeable lead-acid battery, 6–7 Ah. In this case, it will last for approximately 30 hours before requiring recharging. Remote control – supplied as an accessory with the FULL-ARM-05.

• It controls the stopwatch, the scorekeeper, the advance, the matches, the penalty cards and priority.
• Maximum range: greater than 20 m if positioned directly in front of the FULL-ARM-05.
• Innovative transmission system: Each remote control has a unique, non-replicable and unhackable transmission code. By simply pressing the appropriate button, any FULL-ARM-05 can be programmed to recognise the remote control, but only one remote control can be used at a time.

This service offers a number of benefits:

1. Any device can be paired with any remote control and recognised simply by pressing two buttons – one on the device and one on the remote control
2. Two remote controls can never operate the same device, thus eliminating any potential unauthorised interference;
3. It is not necessary to set the same code on the remote control and the Kar-05 unit, nor is it necessary to check whether this code differs from the others; and;
4. There is no limit on the number of devices within the same fenced-off area.

• A red light indicates that the remote control is working correctly, whilst the yellow light on the FULL-ARM-05 indicates a good signal.
• The remote control operates using infrared rays. The advantage of infrared transmission is that it is not affected by external factors, unlike radio-controlled gearboxes, whose operation can easily be disrupted by transmitters operating on the same frequency, even if they are located at a great distance.
• Remote control power supply: The remote control is powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery. It can transmit approximately 150,000 commands.
